Who is Giuseppe
I want to inspire you to learn the violin! There is no greatest reward than for me to continue to disseminate knowledge and for you to say you have learnt with Giuseppe ‘that Italian violin teacher’!
My name is Giuseppe, and I’m the founder of Il Violinista Online Violin Academy. I’ve taught thousands of students around the world, and with the same care and dedication, I’ll help you become a true violinista! (Italian for violinist). Along the way you will also be learning some Italian language!
I began my musical journey on the piano at age five and took up the violin at nine. I still remember the day I held the violin for the first time in my hands, it was a feeling of indescribable excitement. My training was very rigorous and deeply classical, 12 years of high education and examinations at conservatoriums across central Italy studying violin, orchestra, solfeggio, history of music, harmony, piano, singing and much more. Since then, I’ve taught students in both Europe (Rome and Porto) and Australia (Sydney), both in physical music schools of my own and online gaining experience in helping learners of all levels succeed. The average score of A is constantly gained in recognized state music examinations for my students.

So, how can I help you personally?
As an experienced violin maestro, all my knowledge will be shared with you, whether teaching for fun or for examinations, I know what works and how to deliver lessons so you absorb and retain knowledge efficiently. My goal is for you to progress with every exercise and interaction, accumulating both skill and passion, beyond my praise, your own feeling of this is my reward. You will personally feel capabilities compounding, trusting the process even when it gets challenging. What I don’t want is for you to get hooked onto endless nursery rhymes taught by not qualified instructors and no improvement from year to year of either your tone, expression or confidence. The ability to make the violin sing, cry, or feel the passion of a tango piece played by you, imagine! That is why the violin is so beautiful, but there is a difference between pulling a stick up and down and executing something magical. All this and much more is what you can look forward to learning from me.
With my guidance, you’ll gain confidence, develop and refine your technique, and enjoy tangible progress month by month. Beyond my praise, your growth — is the true reward for me!
