Learn Violin in Person
Learn the violin one-on-one in person with Giuseppe
Private weekly violin lessons in West Ryde, Sydney
Whether you are picking up the violin for the first time, returning to an instrument you played years ago, or looking to develop your technique and musicianship further, lessons are individually tailored to your level, goals and musical interests.
A personal approach to learning
Every student is different in age, experience and goals. Rather than following a fixed group class or a one-size-fits-all programme, each lesson focuses on what you need to develop.
Lessons include:
- Violin technique and posture
- Bowing and tone production
- Intonation and left-hand technique
- Reading and understanding music
- Scales and exercises
- Repertoire and musical interpretation
- Practice techniques and how to practice effectively
- Exam preparation (if desired) over the years has scored an average A in AMEB exams
The aim is not simply to teach you pieces, but to help you understand how to play the violin and become increasingly independent as a musician.
Your lessons, your pace
Lessons are conducted privately, one-on-one with Giuseppe.
Alongside your weekly one-on-one lessons with Giuseppe, you have access to a digital library of structured exercises, play-alongs, multiple camera angles and variable speeds to support your practice between lessons.
The online library includes video lessons, exercises, demonstrations and interactive music resources developed through years of violin teaching. Great supportive bonus material.

Tell me a little about yourself or your child, your previous experience with the violin, and what you would like to learn. For children it will be useful to know their age, level and what books they have been using if with a previous teacher.
